1. How long have you been doing wedding videography?

I was a newspaper photographer in the early 1980's and started doing freelance wedding videography in 1985, but did not have it established as a business until 2009. Over 25 years of photography, video and editing experience.

2. Are you insured?

Yes, my company and staff have equipment and liability insurance.

3. Why do you use so many cameras?

Your day is special and there is only one chance to capture the event as it happens. Although equipment problems (cameras, audio, or lighting) are rare, your day is too important to risk loosing a moment of it. The best shots and audio are used for your edited DVD. The multiple angles allow for being able to show the faces of the bride and groom while they speak their vows, a clear shot of the official performing the ceremony, and still get that tearful eye of a proud parent while minimizing any distractions to your moment.

4. Do you do just Wedding Photography or Videography instead of a package deal?

The primary focus of the business is on Wedding Videography. With the equipment that I use, great still shots are taken automatically by the camcorders whenever they detect a natural smile while recording in High definition video. Manual shots can be taken at any time as well. With the still shots being high enough quality to allow at least printed 8x10 pictures, it seemed a waste to not include that in the package. Many couples will choose to have a dedicated still photographer to get all the engagement and posed shots as well as the wedding. In this case, the stills taken as part of our package are just a bonus for the couple that is primarily looking for a videographer. However, when the budget does not allow for both a videographer and a photographer is where this service shines. You pay for a video with audio from your wedding, and get photos too.

5. Do you schedule more than one wedding per day?

Your wedding will have the full attention of the attending videographer for the duration of your event. Wedding and Video Events, LLC may have other weddings scheduled for that day, but each wedding will have their own videographer. Wedding dates are not confirmed until a videographer is available for your full event as scheduled. One wedding per videographer per day is our policy.

6. What happens if you get sick or cannot do our wedding?

Your day is important to you and to us. We take every effort to make sure that your event is covered. Arrangements with other videographers have been made to cover your event in case our main videographer is unable to attend. This is included in your cost. In the unlikely event that your wedding still does not get covered, you will receive a full refund (including deposits) as stated in the contract.

7. Do you take debit or credit cards?

Yes, we take most major credit/debit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card), cash and personal checks. Your date is not reserved until your deposit has been deposited and cleared in our account.

8. What specials or discounts do you offer?

If you chose to pay in full at the time of submitting the contract with the deposit, you save 5% off your total if paying by credit or debit card (between $45 - $170). You can save 10% if paying in full with cash or check (between $90 - $340). If a couple indicates that someone else referred them, the couple and the person who referred them can get a gift card.
